It is important to note that once a Logicbroker shipment is created it cannot be edited. Please exercise caution when creating shipments to avoid delays in processing orders.
Orders shall ship complete when possible. If there is uncertainty around whether an order should be shipped or held based on availability, contact BBQGuys at vendorsupport@bbqguys.com
Please find below the specific shipment guidelines per order type:
- Small Parcel orders:
(a) Ship within your estimated ship date (ESD) given on the Acknowledgement.
(b) You can only create shipments in Logicbroker when the items are ready to ship. You may schedule a shipment for the following business day, Please DO NOT schedule a shipment days or weeks out.
(c) Process shipments in Logicbroker based on the agreement you have with BBQGuys.
(d) Small parcel orders will ship via FedEx.
(i) Daily FedEx Pickups are required if there are items that need to ship. Pick-ups are not
automatically scheduled when creating labels in Logicbroker. This will need to be coordinated directly with FedEx. Please reach out to us if you require our FedEx Representative's contact information.
(e) When you need to manually enter shipping information into Logicbroker, please ensure you
are adding the carrier and tracking properly, so the system picks up what you are entering.
Tracking information provided via automated upload feeds should also follow these
guidelines.
(f) Shipment labels are available from the Shipment Document in Logicbroker. These labels can
be found on the Shipment Document under Attachments. Do NOT use the GS1 label in the
More Actions section. This is not relevant to any of our orders currently.
- LTL (less than truckload) Freight Orders:
a) Ship within your estimated ship date (ESD) provided in the Acknowledgement.
b) You can only create shipments in Logicbroker when the items are ready to ship. You may
schedule a pickup for the following business day, Please DO NOT schedule shipments days
or weeks out.
c) If shipping on BBQGuys accounts, freight shipments will use Convey, a ship management
system, to automatically cost shop for the best freight carrier for the specific order. This will
generate a Bill of Lading (BOL) for you and the assigned freight carrier will be notified for
pickup.
d) Freight shipments may require a Freight Class Override depending on the item. See which
items require Freight Class Overrides here.
e) Shipment BOLs are available from the Shipment Document in Logicbroker. BOLs can be
found in the Tracking URL Link under the General Information section at the top of the
Shipment Document.
f) When you need to manually enter shipping information into Logicbroker, please ensure you
are adding the tracking properly, so the system picks up what you are entering. Tracking
information provided via automated upload feeds should also follow these guidelines.
g) R&L Carrier tracking numbers are alphanumeric. There should be no spaces, dashes, or other
special characters.

- When the warehouse/shipping teams load the truck, the very last pallet loaded should
contain copies of the following, visible when truck doors open for unloading:
(a) BBQGuys/Logicbroker pack slip.
(b) Internal systems pick slip confirming quantities.
(i) Validation that the shipment contains the same quantities listed on the
pick and pack slips.
i) When shipping to our East or West Coast warehouses, an appointment must be made by
either your shipping department, or the LTL carrier. This link must be used to schedule any
shipment to either of these PADC Scheduling Tool Link.

set up an appointment.
