Once advised of a new backorder, update the Logicbroker inventory feed and notify ETA@BBQGuys.com immediately. If a ship date for an item on the PO has been delayed/push backed due to a backorder, then the Estimated Ship Date in Logicbroker must be updated to the new date; if you don’t have an exact ship date, use your best realistic guess (these ship dates are estimations - once you are advised of a more accurate ship date, you can always acknowledge the PO again). You can use the Bulk Acknowledgement method to update the Estimated Ship Dates in bulk.
- In the top right search bar, enter in the model number and click the magnifying glass to search. This will bring up all POs containing this model number. (*see Alternative Ways of Searching below)
- Click the Filter button in the top right corner
- Select Status is Ready to Ship. Click Add. This will filter down to only the orders that have not shipped yet.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and change the amount of Rows per page to show 100 (right hand side). It defaults to only show 20. If you have a lot orders to update, change the rows per page to show 100 so you can see them all at once.
- On the top left side of the screen, click the top box to select all orders.
- Click Date TWICE - this will sort the orders and bring the oldest orders to the top.
- Once all orders are sorted and selected (you will see a red check mark), click ACCEPT/REJECT at the top right side of the screen.
- After clicking ACCEPT/REJECT, the next screen will be where you enter in the item details. Just like in the Bulk Acknowledgement document, enter in the Quantity Backordered and the new Estimated Ship Date, clicking Submit as you go. If the PO contains other items that are backordered, make sure you use the furthest out backordered date.
Alternative Ways of Searching:
Option 1:
If you have a list of POs with the newly backordered model number readily available, you can search multiple POs at once, and update the Estimated Ship Date using the same bulk method as above.
- Instead of searching a single model number in step 1, search multiple purchase orders at once by entering a Pipe (vertical bar) “ | ” between each PO number
- Continue following steps 4-8 as listed above.
Option 2:
If you have multiple models that are newly backordered, you can also search by multiple model numbers, and update the Estimated Ship Date using the same bulk method as above.
- Instead of searching a single model number in step 1, search multiple model numbers at once by entering a Pipe (vertical bar) “ | ” between each model number
- Continue following steps 4-8 as listed above.
