BBQGuys has a full suite of options when creating shipments, whether they are in the Portal or via another communication method (EDI, XML, API, CSV).
Vendors are able to process a shipment using ShipEngine (parcel shipping labels, such as FedEx and UPS), Convey (automated freight/LTL pickups, such as R&L or ABF), or providing the information manually.

Option Steps
1: To ship using ShipEngine (parcel), using the BBQGuys FedEx account and generating a label in the Portal:
- Enter in Ship From address (or use Address Book)
- Do not enter in a Pickup Date
- From the Packages drop down, choose “the merchant’s account”
- Enter in dimensions and weight for the box
- Confirm the items in the box (it pre-populates with what was ordered, but you can edit if you need to)
- Click Submit. You are done.
- If the shipping label does not pop-up automatically, refresh the browser window, then scroll down to attachments section to get the parcel label to print.
2: To ship Convey (freight/LTL), which schedules a pickup and generates a BOL on BBQGuys account:
- Enter in Ship From address (or use Address Book)
- Enter in Pickup Date for when the pallet should be picked up
- From the Packages drop down, choose “Manual Entry”
- Enter in dimensions and weight. Do not enter in a carrier or tracking number.
- Confirm the items in the box/pallet (it pre-populates with what was ordered, but you can edit if you need to)
- Click Submit
- Wait 10 seconds, and the BOL information (the URL) displays up in the top right area (General Information section) for you to print/download
3: To ship parcel manually (you shipped via your parcel carrier account on your end):
- Enter in Ship From address (or use Address Book)
- Do not enter in a Pickup Date
- From the Packages drop down, choose “Manual Entry”
- Enter in dimensions and weight for the box
- Select the carrier in the drop down
- Enter in the tracking number
- Confirm the items in the box (it pre-populates with what was ordered, but you can edit if you need to)
- Click Submit. You are done.
4: To ship freight/LTL, manually (you scheduled the LTL provider pickup yourself, on your account):
- Enter in Ship From address (or use Address Book)
- Do not enter in a Pickup Date
- From the Packages drop down, choose “Manual Entry”
- Enter in dimensions and weight
- Select the carrier in the drop down
- Enter in the PRO number in the tracking number field
- Confirm the items in the box/pallet (it pre-populates with what was ordered, but you can edit if you need to)
- Click Submit. You are done.
